Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe & Kampala Heritage Introduction

Start your journey with an introductory tour of the historic Buganda Kingdom. Day 2: Traditional Matooke Cooking Masterclass & Ndere Dance Night

Main Activities: Farm-to-table culinary workshop, ethnic storytelling, traditional music performanceMorning & Afternoon: Participate in a hands-on culinary immersion at a family banana plantation just outside the city. Join local hosts in harvesting green bananas (Matooke), learning the delicate ancestral process of peeling, wrapping them in banana fibers, and steaming them over an open fire. Day 3: Jinja Source of the Nile & Busoga Kingdom Trail

Drive Time: 2–3 hoursHighlights: Source of the Nile boat cruise, bark-cloth making demonstrationsThe Experience: Drive east through the lush Mabira Forest to Jinja, the historical adventure hub. Visit the Busoga King's Palace to learn about the cultural institutions of eastern Uganda. Take a wooden motorboat cruise to the exact geographic spot where the River Nile flows out of Lake Victoria, interacting with the local fishermen and learning about their lakeside myths.

Day 4: Transfer to the Remote Karamoja Region (Northeast Uganda)

The Experience: Journey north into the rugged, beautiful landscapes of the Karamoja region. Day 5: Living with Nomadic Warriors – The Karamojong Manyatta Experience

The Experience: Spend a transformative day inside a Manyatta—a traditional, thorn-fenced mud-and-wattle village. Day 6: Drive West to Mbarara via Igongo Cultural Centre

The Experience: Drive southwest toward the rolling hills of the Ankole Kingdom. Stop at the iconic Igongo Cultural Centre and Museum near Mbarara.
